"Stairway to Heaven" features Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin sitting thoughtfully on the steps leading up to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. The iconic statue stands tall in the background, its arms outstretched against a full moon. Plant, with his signature long hair and casual black outfit, sits with a calm expression, as if reflecting on his journey up the stairway leading to the divine or enlightenment.

The steps below him are adorned with bold neon lights spelling out the iconic lyric “To be a rock and not to roll,” which references both the solid rock from which the Christ the Redeemer statue is carved, symbolizing strength and permanence and also alluding to the biblical “Peter the rock” - the foundation of faith. It’s a visual interpretation of the songs lyrics about the choice to remain grounded and true to one's principles or faith, resisting the temptation to be pulled into the transient pleasures or materialism of the world. (Alluded to in the song with references to "gold" and "buying" the stairway).
